Database & Collection Management

When on the welcome screen (database or collection picker):
- Tab: Opens an inline form to create a new database or collection
- Ctrl+D: Drops the currently selected database (from database list) or collection (from collection list). For safety, you must type the exact name to confirm.
- Ctrl+R: Renames the selected collection (only available on step 2, the collection list). Pre-fills the current name for easy editing.
When viewing an empty collection list, Ctrl+D drops the current database instead of trying to drop a collection.
Command Palette Actions
Section titled “Command Palette Actions”Press Ctrl+P and search for these commands:

These operations are also available from the command palette, making them accessible at any time without navigating to the welcome screen.
